  • Press conference and Valentine’s day Videoconference.

General news   February 21, 2006, 09:05 by mbijnens

On Tuesday the 14th of February a press conference was held in St. Niklaas to promote Citizen E on a national and local level. The press conference took place in one of the participating schools, Instituut Heilige Familie, where partners, teachers and students talked about their experiences with Citizen E.

The press conference was then followed by a videoconference between the students of Instituut Heilige Familie St. Niklaas and their partner school ITIS A. Meucci in Italy. Since the former are all girls and the latter all boys, we baptized this event as a special Valentine’s Day Videoconference. The students had already been in contact with one another so this was an opportunity to really meet (almost) face-to-face.

After the Videoconference, the students of Heilige Familie organized a wonderful reception where the foreign project partners could enjoy a large choice of Belgian specialities.

On behalf of all the project partners we would like to thank Nadine and her students in Instituut Heilige Familie for a great event !
